An Idea Is the Mother of Invention

2 Improving cleanliness in india圃/Though I do not deem it necessary to define cleanliness in any way and feel that anyone who hasread the title would know what this article is about, but we indians either do not have this word inthe Oxford's or Merriam Webster,'s present at our home, or if it is, we have probably torn thatic page and gulped it up We are the kings and princes, queens and princesses No, not ofering land, but those of littering the land, we find pride in dirtying our roads, throwingmemory in a computer that cannot be erased I think that's enough to define what cleanline or crege on railway tracks, and above all contaminating our souls Its built-in and stored somewhere, bly inside the rOm's of our heads For the technically non-blessed, ROM is just a part ofThough I have generalized this statement for entire India, let me be very frank I have spent a good5 years in Chandigarh, and that city just does not seem to be located inside the periphery of ouow if its the administrators, or the strictness of traffic police, or sternness of layor just the mindset of people but that city is alien to our natioan, has far more organizedtraffic, much more orderly parking slots in markets and malls, trench-less roads, squeaky cleanparks and what not

Even the idea that I am expressing today first engulfed my mind when I waswalking through one of the cleanest roads you'll find in India, the one that runs along Sukhna LakeChandigarh Then I thought of the reason, they have dustbins placed after abo0Om Thats where this idea stuck me Anyways, lets leave Chandigarh and come back to othercities and states noa little bit of fun in the beginning and start playing the game of passing the parcel Ourgovernment would pass the parcel to the state heads The state heads would pass it toauthorities The local authorities would pass it to sessions court and civil courts, who will pass theparcel to the hiher courts, and at the last stage, the highest court will point fingers at the governmentthat it doestheofhttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

country, the citizenshe government is not ready to do it, the courts and theauthorities aren ' t ready to do it thats the major Catch-22 Our micro macro and all intermediatehave turnedurotic that they have tuned their bodies and minds into gyropilot modeswaking up, earning bags full of money, sleeping and repeating the same each and every day of thesical existence as if their tomorrow is a Xerox copy of their yesterday For once, even if AdolfHitler were to lead our country for sometime, he'll start scratching his head in a few days andbabfinding his own citizens not an atom interested in his country's valuationI am conveying this idea with absolute instinct and there are no assumptionsThis conversation is not entirely based on technety gadgets, gizmosvacuum cleaners to suck the litter up from the roads Nor am I intending to create a mobileapplication that would buzz in your ears or needle you in your back if the sensors on your deviceetect you throwing something from your hand That would be absolutely brilliant if someone candeveloppplication though For this idea, I would beProvideand telecom companies A few people might call me over optimistic for thinking about cleanlinessave neinter whatsoever from where i inherited not being ablewithout a ray of hope regards anything happening in or around my life I love to leave all personato destiny andall other problems whandsproblems, fractional expenditure for the people and management involved, very little text, ano bThis idea is againoing to be a very simple and short one Zero complexity, zero implementatThough we can have every hosuehold keeping a dustbin on the road in front of their homes, whichs a marvelous idea otherwise, that would firstly look slightly odd and secondly 99% of Indianswon't do that, unloundated bcourt of law Lastly it might lead to a feybetween the owners of the homes and people who throw some tarnished content into their privatedustbinsbroadbandvires and cables underground, they also connect them via boxes placedat roughly the ends of each road or lane

These boxes have switches, fuses, and connectors that theuse to allot and administer connections in the vicinity Now, our telecom governing departmentbeing the most active department of the country can decree these telecomanles to kedustbin wherever and whenever they place such a box, and rivet and secure it to the ground so thts not stolenecondly, whenever they launch a new project, they do a thorough research and identify homes andlacesthey will erect their eiffel towers ofation So this time around atplaces where they erect these towers, they can place and secure a dustbin each, outside, of courseProblems, solutions advantages and points of notehe first problem is from where to acquire money for the dustbins to be bought, placed andriveted Each of the boxes that are placed by telecom companies must be costing around or moren additional zero to the lakh, rather only add around 2000 to 3000 So should not beproblem Again, each of those towers must be costing around 35-50 lakh I guess, so the cost ofId be further more infinitesimalhttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

No company does anything without the motive of profit and inflow of credit, so they will want tofind a reason for placing each dustbin They just won 't buy the phrase"On humanitarian groundsThe external area of the dustbins is their playground, theny that places the dustbin will haveomplete rights to display whatever advertisements they wish to display on the dustbins, or they careven earn more, pulling ads by becoming affiliates to other companies Moreover social messagesike"Save the girl child"can be embedded on them3 How would it keep the country clean? It won't automatically clean the country like a vacuumcleaner, but it will surely reduce litter If you're walking along a road and about to throw a bananapeel, you wont throw it on the road if you see a dustbin at a fairly short distance, most people won'ttbriated state4 If the idea sees the light of the day and gets implemented, they can even supersede it withdifferent colored dustbins for different kinds of wastes, like biodegradable and non-biodegradablepaper, and plastic, food items, and clothes I know most Indiarterate hate to mention so butthey are not color-blind A little education will see them throughthis from the IT companyhere i worked and they had them placed inside their campusesape than to apply Psychology

Indians are not bad or filthy, they are mereyoir"pKIAThey do what they see So its just a matter of breaking the ice Have you noticed the numberphotographers, professional or otherwise, that have picked up the camera after the movie"Wake UpSid"released, yes, because it broke the ice, it mentioned in bold letters it can happen and it workso they followed it Why do theyar seat belts on national highways? Because they noticedothers getting penalized when they weren t doing so So they followed Strangelre the courtsbroke the ice Why have they stopped smoking cigarettes in public places? Because now they see noone else doing it They followed suit again Why is Delhi metro so clean? They don' t see anyoneelse littering, so they just follow Though its an awfully despicable and deplorable trait to onlyfollow and decially after becoming an adult, yet it works bothnatively and positivelySadly, most Indians like to stand and applaud, or sit and abuse, rather than act, change and getpplauded Sadly, most Indians still don't want to act like leadersthey only wish to bemanagers of disguiseThis is just a simple idea to increase the number of dustbins placed on our roads and thus reducetrash a bit Its improvement and implementation depends on feasibility and of course, whether someIndians act on it or not if they do others will followThis idea does not have much managerial and business aspect except for companies promotingadvertisements on these dustbins and/or creating ads that can be advertised on medichanneAdoption of this method, its usage, its implementation, its success probability only depends on theacceptance factor of the idea but it can make a huge change if followed diligenthttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

3 Utility of Automated glasses and Augmented Reality-In MedicineThis idea will advocate the use of Automated glasses and Augmented Reality in the fieldmedicine and how it can make medicine even more magical, trustworthy and noble than it alreadyAre these Automated glasses all about improving appearances and vanity or can they be used tohelp humanityThishe next 2 ideas of mine are gooing toouch on this topic Since the time the first impressions of Automated glasses came aroundhave been reading that they can respond to voice commands through ultra-advanced voicerecognition technology They have inbuilt video cameras that shoot videos in a virtual reality likemanner straight from wherethings they can click snapshots thein tell whichdirections one needs to take to reach a certain destination, one can send voice messages, maybeeven have calling functionality, they can translate one's words into any language and speak themback to him/her, they can tell one when a train or plane is leaving and from which terminal, thecan be asked questicbe integrated They can perfbulky list offunctions, but is that enough

Is that all what technology blesses us with? This question will gecleared a little bit later when I'll discuss the idea after defining Augmented realityFor now let's come to the second part- Augmented Reality Of course, like that famous Aamir Khan3 ldiots scene about the definition of a machine, Augmented reality will surely have anincomprehensible, tenebrous, cryptic and mystical definition if you'll try to read it in books, or evenon wiki The first line on wiki says"Augmented reality(Ar)indirect, view of al-world environment whose elements are augmented (or supplemented) byund, video, graphics or GPS data "Though I alwabelieve my readers are very sensibln easier terms for a few who are slightly misledhttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

bollixed It basically means what your eyes are currently seeing, your ears are currently listening, your fingers are currently touching is being mediated or manipulated by a computer and the finaltouch and feel have adddsor temperature changes generated by a computer (related to what you are seeingtouching along with physical reality that is already present of coursePhysical Reality Embedded Computer generated extra input= Augmented Reality that yeHeres the model that will make it even more easier to understandComputer sensorsand processingUniverse or PhysicalRealityYour EyesAugmented RealityIts an exceptionally old concept which I first saw in the movie Terminator, where ArnoldSchwarzeneggut his surrounding environment written in front of hiseyes The movie released way back in 1984, so the concept has to be far older than that I haven'tever seen any episode of Star Trek series, but they must have surely depicted some of it too, theyare the ancestors of modern technology

Everything in technology that we see today was devisedand shown in Star Trek sometime or the other And I also owe my idea that I will share aheadhis blockbuster movie Terminator, which I saw as a young child and drew a lot of inspiration fromThe following screenshot will give you kind of an idea what augmented reality basically does andthe power that lies in its armory This is a screenshot of a car's windshield mirror configured withAugmented Reality So as you can note, you can see the speed, mileage of the car, the location anddistance to nearby Starbucks Coffee, a map showing directions on top left, probably the ladyentioned jenniferwner of the car cthe image of the manhttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

bottom right is someone whom the driver or passenger might be talking to like a video call, therealso seems to be a live Twitter feed or chat messages on the right, though I am not sure This is whaHitachi 2400 Smart Windshield313The second part in the title is Medicine as you just read in the title No need to define it But whenbe talking of medicinetry and encompass each and every aspect of the field, doctorsurgeons, nurses, hospitals, chemists, pharmacists, pharmaceutical companies, psychiatrists, psychologists, dentists and so on and so forth Though each one of them is a conjurer in their ownregard, but being humans, they are still fallible, prone to changes in the surroundings and notgettingtomed to them, can still make errors of judgement which people can see as fraudulencetheir partThe IdeaThe main idea that I am going to address today is that all the ingredients that make up the field ofmedicine error-prone and its incumbents human will become infallible to a very high degree It wilimprove their adaptability to a fast changing medical world, keep them up-to-date as far asn as far as imaginable Butlimitation beforehand Since technology is being used here, errors will still continue to occur sinceomputers and machines work on the principle of GlGo i e

Garbage In Garbage Out i e if you askNothing in thisect,ly tend towards it Remember Mathematics, andthe famous expressions"tending to infinity"or"tending to zero", its quite similar, it will never beinfinity or zero but will only incline or tend towards it We can get closer to it but never be perfectdo not want to integrate Alin them are lack of security and fears of virus and malware, since with AR, they 'll need to divulge amany APIs(Application Programming Interfaces) than they would actually do otherwise Forthe uninitiated, APIs are like doors or windows of a hardware to an outside world They allow ahardware to be usedded by third-party developerste their own special functionsThis increases the feature augmentation of any hardware if more APIs are open to be manipulatedby other users But instead of having these security fears, they should actually adopt aR and use itshttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

functions since the combination of the two can change and heal the world forever In each afield, in each and every scopeWays to use Automated Glasses with Augmented Reality in MedicineI'll try and quote a few examples to show how both can be combinedstart with doctors Give them a pair of these automated glasses configured with AR whileprescribing medicines, they can issue a voice command to these glasses to list the variousedicines required to treat the diagnosis they have made on the screen of the glass Then they canoose one out of those that appear on theHow is this helpful? Firstly, there will be close tozero error in prescription of medicines, since the diagnosis-medicine- match model has been pickedfrom a computer database, and not just from the doctor's mind Of course, dependent on the fact thehe made the right diagnosis in the first place It would make the doctor's decision completelyfree, it would add a high degree of safety to the prescription Secondly, it will sharpenskills even further with passing time, since he will continually read the names of medicines andtheir treatment procedures in front of him, getting educated all the whileContinuingint l above all phnufacture drugs withbut different naming conventions So along with the list the doctor can also ask his glasses forarious brands and all names that provide the same salts of medicines How is this helpful? Loadsof times, you'll find chemists handing you medicines with the same salts but from differentpharmaceutical companies, which out of context of fear a person refuses to take Even though he isa doctor he won't remember the names of medicines from all brandsfrom the brands he considers appropriate from the screen of his Automated glasses, and prescribe afew instead of just one, so it would make the job of the chemist far easier and you would be at moreease taking the other medicine as well3

Consider a doctor who100 patDavidCameron that the doctor will remember him by name and face As a matter of fact, it would bifficult for doctors to even remember these famous people due to the large number of new facesthey must be seeing every day Above that, how can we expect them to remember each and everydetail about a patient histions, his history of illness etc when the patient does neven fall in the category of being a superstar Here again Automated glasses can corscue Though the patient may carry hundreds of pages o

f his/her 15-year medical history withhimself/herself, yet the voice recognition ability of Glasses will allow the doctor to query forspecific keyword, specific date, specific medicines that he or any other doctor has previouslyprescribed to the patient He can use a laptop for the same purpose, but these Glasses are saving himample time, as he can do it wlecking on the patient itself since his hands will be freeknow that doctors have the poorest and ugliest of handwriting that any human being canhave, I tried doing a search one day to find out the reasons but don' t remember what the answersereThough the chances of a chemist misreading or misinterpreting a doctor's handwriting areextremely rare, but it can cost one his dear life just for a single human error of alphabetjudgement that no one was intending to make, neither the chemist, nor the doctor Medicines areessentially drugs andse toxic irreversible effects to one's body These Automated glcanhelp in this regardead of issuing a hand-written prescription, the doctor would justspeak it out to the glasses under certain headings like name of medicine, dosage, how many totaldays the patient has to take it, etc and the glasses will throughput the response to a wi-Fi printerhich will cometedInoritein prescriptions, they only mention medications and dosage So more error of judgement has beenemoved, tending the process towards even more accuracy This again can be done through laptopshttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

About the bookThis is a book comprising of ideas that I wish to impart to the world and to my country All of theseideas are absolutely my personal creations, thought of exhaustively by myself and a fermplemented as well Though i cannot actualize most of them either due to lack of hardwarerequired or due to the fact that each one requires extensive research There were two wayme to go Either I could have picked one or two of these ideas and put my heart and soul into themor I could have written this book to impart all of them to the globeone to do their owsearch and use them as per convenience i chose the latter forbecause God has been very kind to me in terms of intelligence and I did not wish to waste n ge myenergies into compiling and executing a single one of these Rather, ould continue to exercise mylutions thatd make thAs a very small child, I wanted to be an astronaut maybe because I had read a little about spacAnd after a few years of growth my aim turned into being a scientist Thougaid god hasbeen kind toith sheer intelligence, to compensate He has made me quiteboisterous I don' t remember opening my books ever before school examinations nor have I readanything, no novels, no newspapers, no magazines, nothing You might be surprised to knowatever I have learnt in my life has been through images, sounds and videos I don ' t hate readingbut I just can't do it, if I try to, I read the first line, then the 10 and then the last, Period So my aimf becoming a scientist got choked up some years later when I realized i would be needing to spendhours in front of text that has to be read and contemplated Anyways moving on, vanity prevailedand like any other normal teenager, my aims were all about being a dancer, singer, actor, modeguitarist Though I am pretty good at all of the aforementioned tasks as well thanks to Almighty butneither got a break nor could amass sufficient courage to pursue any of these Or maybe destiny diden came the lively 20s and my mind got hooked on to gadgets, gizoms, technicalhardware and software And my objective in life turned towards becoming a software engineer

remembered studying 15 hours daily for 2 months just to pass the test for Infosys TechnologiesAnd of course, I managed in the first time itself 5 years in the company, things were quite fine butsomething inside my heart felt incomplete, it kept on kicking me to do something that changesheals the world in some manner Earlier I did not pay heed, but the day I saw my first piece of hairgoing grey in color I instantly decided to call it quits Then came 3 to 4 years of explo iod bes sbetween freelancing, doing a job or business I was never made for a job which I determineemotionally ItBe t I gave was that to business but with the kind of brazenness and boldfaceTbusiness was never going to be easy Diplomacy and myself are polesapart So freelangas, and since the day I picked it up I have been growing mentally andme peace to know that I do not have to involve myself in a hierarchy of peopleAfter trying freelance software, I moved on to technical bloggingand finally I governed myself towards becoming an author and here I am today with this 2n book ofmine Oh wait, this page was supposed to be about the book and not myself Its still about the bookI learnt science when I wanted to be an astronaut, research techniques when I wanted to be ascientist, designing and appearance skillswanted to be a dancerdel etcand email composing skills when I became a software engineer, and lastly I learnt how to make thebest choice of your life after trying out all the three- freelancing, job and business So in theseideas and this book, you will find a portrayal of all of the aboveI would like to dedicate this book to my wonderful father whose talented genes are running in mycells Today, I am writing a book ' for him and soon I'll write a book ' him Thank you Paa!http://wwwtechnovoltagecom

Keep misplacing wallet all the time? recover it nowEHAA major hassle faced by guys all around the globe is misplacing their wallets And on the top oyou'll end up finding them at your home mostly I got this idea when once I had an interview witan IT Company, woke up early in the morning, got ready, and just before leaving tried to look fory wallet, and yes, it was no surprise that it had to play hide and seek the very day when I hadhighly important interview with an IT MNC I searched every nook and corner of my home, car andgarden to see if it might have dropped somewhere But no, I could not find it Even google did notanswer my search queries that day So, quite apparently I hadthank god smight have not realized my bookg potential for a few more years hadstepped inside that IT company's door that day a blessing in disguise for sure Thankfully, aroundafternoon I recovered it Where, you'll come to know at the end of the this idea, which I think a fewof you reading, by now must have realized or are making wild guessesAnyways, I used the particular image presented above because it kind of sums up what you losemisplacing or dispossessing your wallet Currency notes, that can range from 100 dollars to 1000dollars maybe Credit cards of indefinite value ATM and debit cards

Your driving license If youlive in dubai nol cards Bcardshad toate withthe same day you end up misplacing it Some personal notes on handwritten paper that you wish tohide from your wife a note from your wife including the list of grocery items you need to pick upfrom the market again that particular day This person is even carrying an iPod shuffle in his wallet, lust be amazingly sturdy or he must be keeping the wallet in shirt Your PAN card YouCoins, which are so very useful anywhere you shop using cash, else you'll have to be contented wclairs and Mentos a picture of your parents, loved one, or image of God you believe inconclude, guys keep almost everything other than their relationships inside thehttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

And they alinborn talent of misplacing wallets habitually, as if it has come fromf sorts Moreover, most guys are built with close to o mb of mentalall it dramatic or traumatic if some of them even forf time Sounds like an oxymoron sentence but the truth is guys learnfrom birth hoySo that is what this idea will mainly target i e recovering your misplaced wallets I callmicroscopic idea, because its a tiny solution, a single line answer you may call it Zero complexity, minor implementation problems, very little text, and probably very few images requiredThough my handsng to point fingers at our government like most citizens do for mostmr personal andI losses, I think it would be fair enough to have a little pity and declarennocent forble forgetfulness of man

So I won't disturb them from their deepslumberlandhisentirely based on technoLet me clear a little air before proceeding, these ideas are absolutely my own creations, my personalas an outsider Technical Evangelist for any company or any group allgdly I have no affiliation with any industry I am not workinghaytentions of taking up a job anywhere unless they let me sit at home, give me complete freedom tohink, and then pay me for these ideas Then I can give them one per dayThe ldeaThe single line idea is to keep a GPS(Global Positioning System) module inside your walletmostly the place where you keep coinsA GPS module looks like the one shown below this one is 15*17 mm or 15*17cm己And if you have a smartphone or a tablet with a gPs receiver function, then you can track the exactdinates of your wallet, and of corthat on Map applhttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

Problems, solutions, advantages and points of note1 Each of these tiny GPS modules cost anywhere around 15 dollars a piece So that would add anextra price on your wallet, but it's quitewhen you think of what it can save you And if thean be procured in a wholesale deal by a wallet manufacturing company itself, then you might evenget one for 4 to 5 dollars Go for Chinese ones, and you might get a few for l to 2 dollars eachnyways, if you can spend 30 dollars on a piece of leather, then I think it,'s fairly reasonable tospend 5 to 10 more'e 1000 dollars and loads of anxiety, specially the butterflthnote from your girl friend which you wished to save from your wife 's prying eyes2 A software application would have to be developed that helps you understand coordinates, for ifok fowallet on a Map applicatiod only be able to show you at max a pictureof your home, or mall where you dropped it, so at best you'll only come to know ifplace or if you dropped it while watching a movie late the night before the tragedy This applicationwould help you read and understand the coordinates accurately, so that you know which part ofthe wallet is currently placed ath can bee the hardware and software to allow for features likbeeping the gPs receiver(inside mobile)when the gPs module(inside wallet) is in closeapproximation or vicinity on the click of a search button4 Some new hardware GPS receiver can be developed which changes the color of an LEd as youare approaching towards the wallet's GPs module, or moving away from it For example, it startsturning green when both pieces of hardware come closer while starts turning red when they moveurther apart so that the mobiproach towards the wallet slowly and steadily5 A software app can be developed that beeps loudly and raises a warning tone or alarmwhen the distance between the gPs receiver module (inside mobile) touches or extends athreshold pre-devalue from the GPs module(inside wallet) This would be particularlyhelpful if you end up dropping your wallet from your pocket, say in a crowded bus or a metrotrain As soondrops or someone tries to pickpocket you, the alarm will go offmobile in a flash And you and your wallet will feel more secure

6 This solution can be extended to many other normal objects that we might be misplacing on aday-to-day basis For students GPS modules that have thickness of less than a millidevelopedebooks and books so that they can be tracked whenever7 And this last point is the most useful one We keep losing hold of our tiny tot's hands in apublic place and then have to seek some missing cell department there to make anannouncement and locate the child How about connecting or stitching this gPs module to amoment they go a little distance apart the beep would go off alarming yourself about your eOIupeir clothing ctochild not being in your viciniWe all have a duty to make the world a betteto live in It is not a perfect solution, just asimple idea to recover misplaced wallets and other objects of daily use and reduce tons of anxietys improvement and implementation depends on feasibility as well as thorough research byprofessionals across the world I love the fact that I being an Indian can think of such ideas Andhis bookond platformciate with the common public andaders i hainfinite solutions for infinite worldly problems using technology and otherwise and I'll keep pouringthem in my books over and over againThis idea has great managerial and business potential New wallets, new GPS hardnew GPS modules, loads of researching, a variety of software applications that can be developed, sohttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom

it can turn into a huge business in itselfWarren Buffet says if you want to be rich, you first need to save for the future, and then spend theremaining, while most of the world does the opposite The world spends first, and then saves fromle remaining portion My idea is for the world, you already haven't saved, and the money in yourpockets that you intend to spend is getting lost due to misplaced walletsThat is it for the first ideaBut I know I still need to apprise you where I found mineSome of you might have thought about it, I had kept it under my pillow the previous night beforesleeping, so that I do not forget to take it in the morning

And theo mb hard disk in my brain forgthe same thing the next day I woke up Though that day I was anxious and serious, today I lookback and have a hearty laugh atit was all destined for me to reach this stage of becoming an authorhttp://wwwtechnovoltagecom
